A job in the Operations branch of the Navy will be a job like no other.  The Operations’ trades are primarily focused on the Navy’s’ tactical and navigational activities. These are people that navigate the ships from point to point, operate warfare systems and have first-hand experience of events at sea; whatever that may be.

Warfare Officer
In the Navy, Warfare Officers ‘drive’ the warships. You work on the ship's bridge, manage the Bridge staff, control the ship’s manoeuvring and are responsible for the safe passage and navigation of the ship at sea. More >

Hydrographic Systems Operators assist with the creation of accurate seabed and coastline charts. You’ll use state of the art technology to plan, record and compile data; all used to keep ships safe and protect our environment.
